Creanimax is an initiative of the National Chamber of Telecommunication electronic and Information technology (CANIETI) together with the Jalisco Institute of Information technology (IJALTI) work to achieve the development and projection of the industry in: Content creation, interactive media, 2D animation, 3D and videogames.

Creanimax is supported by the Federal and State government to fulfill this event which works as a space of expression and creatives interaction as for the country as for the Latin American Industry.

Creanimax has accomplished to get together in one place the most important companies in the country and some from abroad, universities, training centers, industrial engineering, animation studios and videogames development in their both 2008.

The week will be presented at the President Hotel from the 28th, 29th to the 30th of October.

Creanimax mission is to promote the creation and the growth of companies of the media, allowing México to achieve consolidation as leader in develop visual effects for movies and Television, animation in several techniques, postproduction, and develop of videogames for PC, consoles and mobile devices. Likewise Creanimax seeks to consolidate as the most important festival of animation and videogames of Latin America.

In last editions of the festival, companies from countries like Colombia, Chile and Argentina have had a vital role in the promotion of animation and Videogames contents. Which has allow us to demonstrate that in Latin America there’s no only talent and the willing to compete worldwide, and we are already in the industry with hundreds of successfully cases, Which will allow us to continue growing in the next years.

Nowadays Creanimax collaborate with other festivals such as the Festival Loop of Colombia and the Festival Anima of Argentina.
